"Much better than staying at a hotel! After a full day of sightseeing, it was so great to come “home,” spread out in our suite and really relax. Darcy and Nick were terrific hosts. And breakfast was seriously delicious!."Alexander B. Austin, TX★★★★★
"We had an amazing San Francisco vacation with our two adult children. Our two bedroom suite was very comfortable and breakfasts were great. We especially enjoyed sharing stories with Darcy and Nick over a glass of wine! Public transportation worked well with the bus stop a block away in Golden Gate Park."Leslie M. Berlin, Germany★★★★★
"Traveling for work, I prefer homestays to hotels. These hosts are extra friendly. A very large home. It was nice to live like local person in first-class San Francisco home. Very clean and comfortable with everything I needed. Highly recommend and I will definitely return here!"Michael (Misha) P., Vladivostok, Russia★★★★★
"The host is incredibly welcoming and is willing to go above and beyond to make it a great experience. We had a fabulous time here. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, the host was inviting and welcoming, and so many little things - like leaving chocolate bedside - made it a wonderful experience.."Leah H., United States★★★★★
"Best ever stay in San Francisco! It was so great to come to a real home and unwind in our own private hot tub. Darcy and Nick were super kind and helpful. Gorgeous house! Delicious breakfast!."Kathy and Rob C., Topeka★★★★★

About the Area Half a block from Golden Gate Park and Spreckles Lake, and a 15-minute walk to the Pacific Ocean, our Richmond District neighborhood is a very quiet residential section of San Francisco. Here are some of the sights and events in our neighborhood: the Pacific Ocean; art-house Balboa Theatre; Camera Obscura at Point Lobos; Seal Rocks, De Young Museum and Academy of Sciences; the Cliff House; the Great Highway; Spreckles Lake; Sutro Cliffs, Park and Baths; Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival; Lands End; Stowe Lake, Palace of the Legion of Honor; the Presidio; Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival; Golden Gate Park Golf Course; Japanese Tea Garden; Kezar Stadium; Polo Fields; Windmills; Bison Paddock; Conservatory of Flowers; Bay-to-Breakers Race; Golden Gate Park Carousel; dozens of restaurants and shops. In fact, the Richmond District is a restaurant haven, with a commercial strip on Clement referred to as the second Chinatown, boasting more highly rated Chinese restaurants than Chinatown itself! The Richmond also has deep Irish and Russian roots and has many Catholic and Orthodox churches. Two blocks away is Balboa Street, a newly revitalized hub of the neighborhood with many Chinese, Japanese and Korean restaurants.
